On this piece of paper
I tried to write a poem

Wrote some words that grew to lines
Your name and face still in mind

My hand wants to stop
You were all I got

You moved me to write and live life
You moved on and left me behind

I want to stop
But I cannot

I'm too stuck-up to wither and die
I just want to curl-up and get high

Not everything were for naught, I still have something
I still have that vision, that fleeting fragile hope

Why?
Why?

once dulled emotions, threaten to peak and explode
My hand won't stop writing words, empty and morose

Weeping
Willow

Black tears flowing through my pen, just can't be stopped
Black Ink, bleeded and smudged, transformed this receipt

Into my
Unlikely
Diary

This piece of parchment left me brokenhearted
...
A bloody poem was all I wanted

*updated* ... cleaned a few sentences here and changed a title there.

It took me months, in deliberating, if I should post this. I am wary of the implications I had to face upon posting this... as for the current state that I am in *cough* no back-bone *cough* ... I decided to post anyways. I decided to let go, this time, a bit more slowly and with grace. For I have learned (and ate some of my own words) that infatuation comes in fast, rapes the heart and mind, like a sex crazed dog, and when found wanting ... dies way too long ... like spunky ... the sex crazed dog (Obscure reference. I know ... but, you got my point right?)

Anyway, If I follow my regimen of poetic catharsis, this feeling, will have no choice but to stop.

The title is from a line from Lateralus "Reaching out to embrace the random." 6.7.5.8.4.9.13.1.12.2.11.3.10. I tried adhering to Tool's fibonacci sequence (lateralus on [link] youtube). I hope you like it, cause I sure did.

I was more concerned about a group project due on Thursday so I left my books for the day I forgot was midterm day for an OPEN-BOOK/OPEN-NOTE exam. Image: me riding a shooting star and falling off.

How are you though?

I only have 2 subjects for summer (bio and logic philo). Midterms was last week, not worth mentioning tho.

I think it was alright. It was just common-sense type scientific brain-racking stuff. We'll see, cuz I think my description of a study of how "More babies are born on a full moon than any other time of the month" was bs.

Summer is your term now? Ah, I'm sure you did well.

wait...let me digress... More babies are born on a full moon than any other time of the month ... is that true?

Yeah, summer school has its pros, no dress code...especially for girls

For bio, it was good. I don't know about philo...My priority is lopsided to bio right now.

Ha, I don't know. I wrote something about lunacy leading to accidents causing trauma leading to premature births. bs, I said.

Man, honestly I would have liked uniforms in high school (not univ though). I might have had an easier time, probably for the opposite reason you said no dress code is good. aaaaa

Really? I would have though philo would give you more fun material to mess with. Bio was fun for me cuz I used to think my teacher was a hippie (in a good way)
